Camp Artaban, located on Gambier Island, is sixty-seven acres of beautiful waterfront property only half an hour via boat from Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver.

Serving as a summer camp from June-August, Camp Artaban offers a wide variety of programing for all ages.

Accommodating groups of up to 150 people, our facilities are frequently rented out for weddings, reunions, school groups, corporate retreats, Scout camps, and more!

As a community, we are blessed to live, learn, and play on the ancestral and unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation). 

Camp Artaban is geographically situated on Chá7elkwnech / Nexwnéwu7ts / Txwnéwu7ts (Gambier Island) at the end of Long Bay in Atl’ka7tsem (Howe Sound). 

The Camp Artaban mainland office is located in North Vancouver on the ancestral and unceded territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. 

Camp Artaban honours, respects, and recognizes the aforementioned Nations that have lived and continue to live on these lands since time immemorial.
