Camp Artaban is Hiring!
While Camp is not in session, the site is used by rental groups. We are currently hiring staff for our upcoming rentals. All positions are based on site for the duration of the rental.
Responsible for providing food services for up to 175 people per meal and leading a kitchen crew of 5 others. Food Safe level 2 mandatory.
Assistant Head Cook:
Responsible for assisting the Head Cook in all areas of food services. Will act as main cook in Head Cook’s absence. Must have Food Safe level 1. (Level 2 an asset).
Special Diets Cook:
Responsible for preparing menus and meals for campers and staff with special dietary needs. Will also be responsible for preparing and serving regular camp meals and general kitchen clean up. Must have Food Safe Level 1.

Responsible for running an open ocean waterfront program. Responsible for program development, facilitation and waterfront staff leadership. NLS required. OFA level lll an asset. Boating experience an asset.
Responsible for running the boating programme, including canoeing, rowing, kayaking and sailing. Pleasure Craft Operators card required. NLS and OFA an asset.
Live-in First Aider for staff and campers. OFA level lll required. Field experience with children recommended. Belay ticket and experience with climbing an asset.
Responsible for supervising and maintaining the indoor and outdoor climbing walls for guest activities. Belay ticket required. Field experience with children recommended. First Aid an asset.
Responsible for supervising and running the archery program.
Responsible for janitorial cleaning, general grounds upkeep and some building projects. Previous construction or other related experiences an asset. Must have a minimum class 7N driver’s license.

camp Summer Staff (Permies)
Applications are being accepted for on-site summer staff lifeguards.
