Until 30 April 2017, applications are being accepted for on-site summer staff in the following positions:
- head cook
- assistant head cook
- kitchen helper
- special diets cook
- maintenance staff
- head lifeguard
- first aider/belayer
Rental Marketer and Coordinator – DEADLINE 30 April 2017
To promote and help run our off-seasons (March-June & August-November) rentals program.
•Market the rental program and respond to inquiries promptly
•Create and maintain a client database and rental calendar
•Work with the rental committee to train rental staff
•Ensure smooth rental arrivals and departures from camp
•Complete a rental damage checklist at the end of each rental
•Complete customer satisfaction surveys
•Regularly report to the Chair of the Board
•Be enrolled in or have a marketing diploma/degree
•Be willing to learn invoicing and other duties as required
•Have a valid driver’s license
•Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
•Complete a satisfactory criminal record check
•Be able to work within a Christian camping context.
•Good with people.
Minimum of 15 hours per week, $15-20/hour (dependent on experience) plus bonuses based on rental revenue. Some work may be done remotely, some work will require time in the office in North Vancouver, at Horseshoe Bay, and on Gambier Island.
